Product Details:
AQ4 power vent kit is for Bosch models 1600P and 1600H. The AQ4 is used for sidewall exhaust and allows units to vent horizontally.
Kit includes: the fan motor, termination hood, actuating controls, safety interlock, flue adapter, mounting hardware, freeze prevention and control cables. AQ4 is CSA Certified for the Compact appliances sold in the US and Canada and offers a post purge fan sequence for increased customer safety and performance.
Guide to the AQ4 Venting:
Material - 4" Type B or C. (Any short residual sections of vent pipe after the fan motor must be sealed single wall pipe)
Max Distance - 25' w/ one elbow
Min Distance - 2' w/ one elbow
Max Elbows - 3
Deductions - The first elbow is included; each additional elbow requires a 5' deduction from effective length.
Fan must be installed horizontally- as close to the point of termination as possible.
1600H used with the AQ4 still qualifies for tax credit
The vent hood is engineered; Bosch cannot condone or discuss any modifications to it.
